The Omelette Party is an annual UPARC tradition which has become the must attend event in Pinellas County.
The event was inspired by an article found in a magazine that interviewed Chef Rudolph "Rudy" B. Stanish. Chef Rudy was creating omelette parties for the rich and famous at the time. A group of ladies thought it was a fabulous idea for a fundraising event. They set out to host the event themselves and asked Chef Rudy to prepare the omelettes for the event. It has become a UPARC staple for over 43 years.
This year's event was held on April 8th, 2011 at the home of Trudy and John Cooper of Clearwater. This black tie gala raised over $100,000 in 2011 which directly benefits UPARC programs and services.
After cocktails and an opportunity to view and purchase fine art and jewelry, guests enjoyed a live band, food and drinks. Chefs and staff from Carlouel Yacht Club prepared omelettes and poured champagne for the guests.
We are honored to have Mr. and Mrs. Dan Doyle, Jr. and Dr. and Mrs. Allen Hughes as our event chairs for next years event to be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Stroyne on April 20, 2012.
